LOVA T-shirts
Today we have received our LOVA T-shirt with the logo of the company AWS.

Places, time and characters

Today we have voted for the characters and the time in which our opera will take place entitled "the enchanted plane". First we said characters that we would like to appear in our opera. This time we did not vote to choose the characters, but the actors and actresses decided who they wanted to be and what characters they wanted to play.

Title of the Opera
Today in the English class we did the selection and voting of the titel of the opera. We made suggestions, possible titles which we wrote on the blackboard. Then in a piece of paper each student wrote his/her favourite three given 3, 2 and 1 points. The most voted were:

Personatges de la nostra opera.

Aqueix dia,varem decidir els personatges que eixirian a la nostra opera. Havien moltes possibilitats per a triar. Cadascun de nosaltres va dir un possible personatge i els apuntem en la pissarra, va haver de tot, des de zombis fins a una xica normal i corrent. Al final van eixir Satanas, una senyora embarassada, un zombie i dos personatges mes.

STEP COUNTING
Today we played some new games in LOVA class. In one of these games we had to take an imaginary big stone and throw it far away in slow motion. It was very funny.
We also met a new challenge: step counting: All the group had to walk around the room marking the steps at the same pace, starting by one step and stop, then two steps and stop, three steps and stop, and so on until ten and back. It was very entertaining but quite difficult.

Today in English we have filled up an appplication form to say our job preferences. We had to choose 3 from the list of all jobs in an opera company, and we had to justify why we wanted to apply for each of the jobs.

The Empty Chair
Today we met a new challenge in LOVA: the empty chair.
The game consited of placing as many chairs as people participating and an empty chair, where Elvira had to try to sit. The group must prevent her from sitting, so while she was coming nearer the empty chair we had to move and occupy the empty chair. Once you stood up, you could not sit again on the same chair, so the teacher always won, because we moved without thinking.
It was a funny challenge that we could not win, but all of us liked the activity very much.

Nuestro logo
1/10/2019
Estos últimos días hemos estado trabajando mucho en el logo de nuestra compañía, toda la clase ha hecho muchos diseños de logos que podrían servir para nuestra empresa. El día 1/10/2019 decidimos hacer unas votaciones para decidir nuestro logo. Tuvimos un empate entre dos logos muy chulos, uno era de Irene Vidal, y el otro de Asier Godino. Los profesores decidieron votar y elegir el logo final. Ganó Irene, aquí os dejo una foto de su diseño:
En clase de informática, hemos digitalizado el logo, y así es como ha quedado. Logo de Benjamín Miravalles.

PALAU DE LES ARTS
Today we went on a trip to the Opera House Reina Sofía: Palau de les Arts.
First the coordinator of Les Arts Education taught us the basics of the opera jobs (managing, stage, marketing, production, etc) and brought us in a tour around the Palau.
We divided into groups for professions and some artists or technicians explained us how they worked in make-up, costumes, lights or scenery to make an opera. This is interesting to do our jobs in LOVA.
I think everyone liked the activity.

Theme of the Opera
Today we did an interesting activity: we had to answer some questions about ourselves:
What scares you?
What makes you happy?
What makes you sad?
What makes you angry?
What are you enthusiastic about?
With the answers we had to vote for the word which described best our interests to choose the theme of the opera. We closed our eyes and raised our hands to vote. In the end the word "adventure" won.
We write in English everything we do in LOVA in our personal emotional diary, when we finish an activity.

SPECIAL OBJECT
Today we have done an activity called "My special Object". We brought to class an object which was special for us (toys, photos, books). In turns we had to place our object on a long piece of paper on the floor and write our name and a feeling that our object meant for us (happiness, protection, memories...)
It was so exciting and moving that a classmate cried from the memories that the photo brought him. I think that the whole group liked the activity.

El nom de la nostra companyia
1/10/2019
Hui en classe de LÒVA, hem estat triant el nom per a la nostra companyia d'opera. Hi havia molts noms que van proposar els meus companys, entre ells van destacar "AWS", (Acting with a smile), "MAU", (Musical Artist Union), i "FOTO" (Friends of the opera). Vam fer unes votacions, havíem de posar 3 punts al nom que més ens agradara.
El nom més votat va ser... AWS!
Ara som AWS i junts crearem un futur brillant per a Acting With a Smile.

The dominoes and the rug
20/9/2019
Today we did three activities in the drama class.
The first consisted in doing a dominoes putting the pieces however we wanted. When we finished the dominoes, Elvira asked us how the dominoes
's shape identified us as a class. We arrived to the conclusion that we were a class that could work together as a group.
Then we did a fun activity. Someone had to stand up and say things he/she liked, for example: I like blue and I like writing. The left hand was the first thing he/she said he/she liked and the second was the right hand. Then, someone that liked one of those two things had to stand up and grab by the hand the hand of the other classmate and say another thing he/she liked. So we created like a snake with the people's preferences.
The last thing we did was a group challenge. There was a big rug on the class' floor. We all had to stand inside the rug. Then, we had to turn the rug upside down without anyone touching the floor. It was very difficult, but we did it succesfully.

El reto de los números

Hoy en clase de inglés hemos hecho un reto grupal.
El reto de los números, consiste en contar del 1 al número de alumnos en la clase. En nuestro caso seria contar del 1 al 28. A primera vista el desafío parece fácil, pero no. Una persona empieza diciendo "uno", y las demás personas van diciendo los números restantes. Pero si dos alumnos dicen un número a la vez, se vuelve a comenzar desde el principio. Nosotros solo llegamos hasta el 10, porque no estabamos muy concentrados, pero seguro que otro día si que lo conseguiremos.

The lucky charm

This day, at the end of English class, Elvira gave us cach one a different stone. She said that would be our lucky charm (amulet). It would give us luck and would help us pass 2nd of ESO, but if we lost it, we would fail.
But if we wanted to keep the lucky charm, we would have to do an individual challenge.
We had to stand up making a circle with the stone on one of our hands, starting at a point without doing anything, and focus.
At first it seemed quite easy, but it wasn't.
We couldn't talk, laugh, move, or look at the teacher! If we did that, Elvira, would take the stone away from us, and if she saw we were focussed again, she would return it.
More than half of the class laughed, moved or stared at Elvira. It was a bit difficult, but we succeeded at the end and we could take the lucky charm with us.

Primer día en LOVA
El primer día del proyecto la profesora Elvira nos puso una maleta en el medio de la sala, y tuvimos que adivinar una metáfora relacionada con la maleta.
Significaba que íbamos a recorrer un mundo de aventuras y viajar durante todo el curso.
Después de esa metáfora tuvimos que apuntar en un papel nuestro nombre y una virtud nuestra, en una pizarra.
Luego nos dieron nuestro cuaderno emocional, y apuntamos todo lo que hicimos ese día. Para la primera vez en nuestro proyecto LOVA, no estuvo tan mal como pensabamos.

Bienvenidos y bienvenidas
Bienvenidos y bienvenidas, en esta publicación os contarem un poco sobre el proyecto LOVA.
LOVA, es un proyecto creado para desarollar la capacidad de las personas para trabajar en equipo.
Se
realiza durante un curso escolar completo. El alumnado de 2 ESO A
convertirá su clase en una compañia de opera que, organizada en equipos
como profesionales creará desde cero, una opera o breve pieza de teatro
musical.
El equipo de profesores que participará seran:

Y
como ya hemos mencionado anteriormente, el alumnado que participará,
